This energizing beverage is warm, comforting and supports mental calm and focus. Both Green tea and Lion’s Mane have a long history of use as longevity tonics for the mind.
Ingredients: (per 1 Serving)
1/4 to 1/2 Tsp Lion’s Mane (Hericium Erinaceus) Mushroom Powder.
1/2 Tsp Green tea (Camellia sinensis). *
1 Cup Water, Boiled and Cooled slightly.
Honey, or other sweetener (Optional)
Directions:
- Place powdered the Green tea in a large mug.
- Boil water, then pour over the green tea herb until the mug is about 1/4 full, let it seep for 5 – 10 minutes. Strain through a fine sieve.
- Add the Lion’s Mane powder to the tea.
- Use a whisk or fork to stir briskly for 30 seconds.
- Add the remainder of the hot water.
- If you prefer a Latte-style, substitute warmed milk or non-dairy milk of your choice and stir well to combine.
- Add sweetener to taste, if desired.
Note: Powders may not dissolve completely, so you might want to stir your tea every few minutes as you drink to keep the powders from settling to the bottom of the mug.
*You can substitute Green Tea with either Stinging Nettle Herbs or Matcha powder. Both of them is low in calories, macronutrients, vitamins, and minerals but rich in a variety of antioxidants.
